Manager Helpline

It is quite often that today’s managers are presented with some complex questions relating to staff that are linked to other issues like relationships/dependancies/threats to life - the complexities are many. Our Manager Helpline allows managers to speak to a Qualified Psychologist who also has management experience to assist you to deal with the complex issues that arise from time to time.

The Interlock Manager Helpline works in conjunction with Manager Support Services which are part of our Employee Assistance Program. We offer a telephone-based service to support managers in addressing important issues or problems at an early stage and to work effectively with their HR Department and any other resources that are available to them.

The Manager Helpline supplies your organisation with immediate response and supported from highly qualified and accredited psychologists who have a strong focus in Human Resources and Development, and organisational psychology.  Our counsellors assist managers in the following ways:

  • Management of distressed or potentially vulnerable employees
  • Management of difficult or unusual interpersonal and team dynamics
  • Encouragement of an employee to access the Employee Assistance Program
  • React and respond appropriately to a situation where an employee is at risk of self-harm or suicide
  • Manage impact of difficult situations on employees
  • Management of performance issues
  • Management of employees with personal or emotional problems

If further help is warranted, our counsellor will decide to refer the manager to their Employee Assistance Program.
