Individual well-being, healthy workplaces, strong communitiesInterlock works through its Employee Assistance Programs to support individuals, businesses and the community, knowing the well-being of all three is closely linked. As a division of the Alcohol and Drug Foundation - Queensland (ADFQ), we are a not-for-profit organisation that also supports the work of our parent organisation in minimising the problems in the community caused by the misuse of alcohol and other drugs. ADFQ was established in 1974 and works with the community and other organisations to research problems, influence policy and to develop programs, services and activities that help the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug misuse. Through this affiliated network, we also support the work of Holyoake, which offers support, counselling, therapy and education for those affected by the alcohol or drug problem of a family member, partner or other close friend.
