Employee Support

How Interlock helps employees

As an employee of an organisation that offers an Interlock Employee Assistance Program, you are entitled to free*, confidential counselling service.

Whether you are concerned about problems at work or difficulties in your personal life, counselling can help you find a way through.

Many people wait until they are facing a major life crisis before they consider counselling, but often talking through niggling problems with a counsellor can help you take early action to avoid things getting worse.

Our counsellors are here to help you with a range of life concerns and problems including:

  • Depression or anxiety
  • Work stress
  • Grief
  • Financial problems
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Family difficulties
  • Conflict at work or at home
  • Drug, alcohol or gambling problems
  • Career planning and work-life balance
  • Handling change and transitions
  • Handling separation or divorce
  • Recovering from a traumatic incident.

You can choose telephone counselling or face-to-face counselling.

Your employer will not be told that you have applied for counselling.  Counsellors never release names or personal details except with your written permission.

*Your employer may have a limit on the number of free sessions you can have each year.
